This is a contract hybrid role for a Business Development Manager based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with flexibility to work from home on occasion. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and managing client relationships. Responsibilities include conducting market research, developing growth strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve organizational goals.

  • Identify, approach, and onboard new clinics, pharmacies, and diagnostic centers to join the Pana+Care network.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with organizations, insurers, corporates, and county health offices.
  • Lead clinic onboarding and ensure smooth rollout in collaboration with the Tech and Programs teams.
  • Represent Pana+Care in stakeholder meetings, medical events, and partner discussions.
  • Prepare and track partnership agreements, MoUs, and pipeline reports.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clinics to ensure retention and satisfaction.
  • Support fundraising or grant-related partnership work when needed.
  • Report weekly on leads, signed partners, and active deployments.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or healthcare sales (experience with healthtech or medtech is a plus).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills — able to engage with both clinical and business leaders.
  • Comfortable in field settings — visiting clinics, pitching to decision-makers, and following up.
  • Self-driven, organized, and confident representing the company in professional settings.
  • Familiarity with Kenya’s health system (public and private) is a strong advantage.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field.
