Overview:
The Transcribers and Translators will provide transcription, translation, and documentation services for qualitative data collected during research assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe FGDs and KIIs accurately and verbatim.
- Translate Kiswahili/local dialects into professional English.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure data handling.
- Deliver clean, formatted transcripts within agreed timelines.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Communication, or Social Sciences.
- Proven experience in research transcription and translation.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Kiswahili.
