Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; CIM or MBA preferred.
- 5–8 years in FMCG marketing, with 3+ years handling food/snacks or similar categories.
- Proven experience managing youth, family, and mass–market brands.
- Strong understanding of both traditional and modern trade in Kenya and East Africa.
- Skilled in brand management, innovation, digital marketing, and agency coordination.
- Analytical minded with creative problem–solving and execution discipline.
- Experience with NPD, packaging design, and flavor innovation.
- Proficiency in SAP (S4HANA), BI dashboards, or marketing analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Category Strategy & Planning: Drive annual marketing plans, identify growth opportunities across noodles, cereals, and snacks, and convert consumer insights into winning strategies.
- Brand Management & Communication: Lead brand positioning and storytelling through ATL, digital, and in–store campaigns with consistent packaging and promotional messaging.
- Trade & Channel Activation: Execute trade marketing plans to boost visibility and sales across general and modern trade, ensuring ROI–driven activations.
- Innovation & Portfolio Development: Manage new product launches from concept to execution, collaborating with R&D and Sales to ensure commercial success.
- Data & Performance Management: Track category performance, analyze insights to guide pricing and investments, and prepare business updates for leadership.
