About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to daily menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
- Ensure that food is cooked to the correct temperature and consistency, meeting patients’ medical and cultural dietary needs
- Prepare special meals for patients with specific dietary restrictions
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food storage areas
- Follow infection control and food safety procedures as per hospital policy
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of food items to prevent contamination or spoilage

- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excesses to the Supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Professional certification in food production or medical catering
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen
- A valid food handler’s certificate
