Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
- Assisting the Director in administration and coordination of departmental functions;
- Providing strategic oversight in implementation of gender and social welfare programs;
- Coordinating partnership and stakeholder engagement initiatives;
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and policy frameworks;
- Developing departmental budgets and work plans; and
- Performing any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:
- Served as Chief Gender and Social Development Officer for at least three years;
- Master’s Degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, or related field;
- Certificate in Strategic Leadership or Senior Management Development Course;
- Registration with a relevant professional body (where applicable).
