About This Role
As our Senior Mobile Engineer, you'll own the Pocket Watch mobile experience from design to deployment. You'll build intuitive budgeting and financial-tracking features using React Native and Expo, connected to real-time guidance from our AI assistant.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and ship high-quality features using React Native (Expo + EAS)
- Integrate Pocket Watch’s Plaid-based transaction API for real-time financial data
- Build secure authentication, deep linking, push notifications, and offline states
- Work closely with backend engineers to define APIs
- Prototype AI-assisted budgeting and reward experiences
- Instrument performance and analytics to measure user impact
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of professional mobile experience with React Native and TypeScript
- Hands-on Expo experience (EAS Build, OTA updates, config plugins)
- Familiarity with mobile security and testing
- Experience integrating Plaid Link or similar FinTech SDKs
- Passion for clean UI/UX and user-first product design
