Key Responsibilities
System Administrator
- System Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- End-to-end support of the biometric identity system, including field devices, data collection, and backend processing.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software, and network layers.
- Ensure high availability and performance of the AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System).
Database Management:
- Administer and optimize Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient biometric matching
Production Support:
- Collaborate with the local production team responsible for ID document manufacturing.
- Ensure seamless integration between biometric data and ID card production systems.
Customer Relationship & Communication:
- Act as the primary technical interface with the customer.
- Provide regular updates, incident reports, and performance metrics to the HQ team
- in France.
- Facilitate coordination between local operations and HQ directives.
Team Engagement & Leadership:
- Motivate and guide the local technical team.
- Promote best practices and ensure alignment with HQ standards.
- Foster a collaborative and proactive work environment.
Required Qualifications Education & Technical Skills:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong background in systems, networks, databases, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Master Linux and Windows administration and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with biometric systems and AFIS platforms is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in IT operations or system integration.
- Experience in production environments, preferably in identity or document issuance.
- Proven track record of working in customer-facing roles.
