Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Marketing Director. The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, conducting market research, managing marketing activities, and coordinating sales initiatives with the team. This person is also responsible for content creation (physically going to our farmers) and posting. The role is located in Nairobi County, Kenya, with the flexibility to work from home for some tasks and the demand to travel to Rwanda and Uganda for work.
Qualifications
- Market Planning and Market Research skills
- Marketing and Marketing Management experience
- Content creation skills (filming, photography and editing)
- Posting and managing social media pages (Instagram and LinkedIn)
- Sales coordination skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the agricultural or environmental sector is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
