- What was your job search like before Corporate Staffing?
Honestly? It was very brutal. I used to apply to every single job I found that even resembled my job. I would spend hours tailoring my CV to fit the job descriptions, and most times, the employers did not even respond.
The worst part about my job-searching experience was the constant feeling of not being good enough. My qualifications and skills failed to get me through the door, and I started to feel like I am not good enough.
2. How did you hear about Corporate Staffing?
My boyfriend’s sister worked at corporate staffing, and he told me all about the benefits. I’d tried other recruiters before, and they basically just forwarded my CV around. But he kept on emphasizing how different they were because he knew firsthand.
3. How quickly did things move after that?
Really fast. I started browsing their website. Never missed a LinkedIn post, and I always made sure to only apply for the roles that I qualify for 80%. I stopped applying for too many jobs, and it saved my job-searching experience.
4. What’s your role like now?
I am currently a marketing coordinator. I’m involved in campaign strategy, content creation, and managing our social channels, exactly what I wanted to be doing.
But here’s the thing, I don’t think I would have gotten this role without Corporate Staffing’s interview videos. 5. What would you say to someone who’s struggling with their job search right now?
Stop doing it alone. I wasted a lot of time looking where I had no business looking. I applied for so many jobs and did not focus my search.
