Job Responsibilities
Operations Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations across production sites to ensure efficiency, consistency, and high performance.
- Develop and implement operational systems, policies, and procedures that support sustainable growth.
- Coordinate with the logistics, procurement, and production schedule in alignment with company targets.
- Track performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
- Support budgeting, reporting, and compliance processes in collaboration with the leadership team.
People & Culture
- Build and maintain a people-first culture that reflects our values and purpose.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff development to attract and retain top talent.
- Design and implement performance management frameworks and growth pathways.
- Foster communication, teamwork, and engagement across departments.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and welfare matters with confidentiality and care.
- Champion initiatives that strengthen inclusion, motivation, and well-being in the workplace.
Leadership & Strategy
- Partner with the Founder to align operational priorities with long-term business goals.
- Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development discussions.
- Lead by example, modeling professionalism, accountability, and empathy.
- Build leadership capacity within the team through mentorship and delegation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- Experience in operations and/or people leadership roles, ideally in agribusiness, manufacturing, or SMEs.
- Proven track record of building systems, managing teams, and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and organizational culture building.
- Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and integrity.
