Reports to: Chief Finance Officer, Betty Adera Foundation International (BAF)
Contract Duration: 11 months (renewable based on performance and funding)
Level of Effort: 100% (Full-time)
Purpose of the Position
The Finance Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the YWISE Project, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and accountability in the use of project
resources. The role supports the Finance Manager and Project Manager to maintain
compliance with donor regulations, BAF financial policies, and Kenyan statutory
requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- CPA II or ACCA certification (minimum).
- At least 3 years of experience in financial management of donor-funded projects.
- Knowledge of Kenyan statutory and tax regulations.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or Sage).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
