We are looking for a thoughtful and experienced Reservations Manager to lead our reservations team ensuring that every guest’s journey with us begins with warmth, clarity, and care. At Angama, reservations are about far more than managing bookings. They are about creating a seamless and joyful start to every guest’s safari, while supporting our sales, revenue, and operations teams with accurate, timely, and thoughtful communication.

This role reports to the Head of Sales and has the Reservations Team reporting to them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support the reservations team to deliver efficient, accurate, and joyful service.
  • Oversee daily workflows, team schedules, and performance appraisals.
  • Manage all reservation processes from enquiries and quotations to confirmations, amendments, and cancellations.
  • Ensure guest information is accurately captured and communicated to lodge and operations teams.
  • Support trade partners with complex itineraries, group bookings, and last-minute requests.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and Operations teams to align on availability, promotions, and offers.
  • Maintain data quality and reporting accuracy for bookings and team performance.
  • Uphold Angama’s service standards, ensuring every guest interaction reflects warmth and care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in reservations management within the safari or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of leading a reservations team serving both international and local markets.
  • Strong systems knowledge and solid financial acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for conservation, community, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
