The Job holder will be responsible for implementation of the Organisation’s corporate communication strategies and activities, which include; branding, events management, Corporate Social Responsibility, customer service, media relations, internal communication, and public relations for brand enhancement.

  • Initiating the planning of publicity strategies and campaigns;
  • Drafting media press releases;
  • Analyzing media coverage in regard to the Organisation’s targeted audience;
  • Developing customized promotional messages for publicity and advertisement;
  • Analyzing and monitoring customer complaints lodged externally and internally using established complaints handling feedback mechanism; and
  • Developing customer strategies for handling of customer complaints effectively.
  • Must have served for a cumulative period of six (6) years, three (3) of which must have been in the position of Corporate Communication Officer, or a comparable position;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a Degree in Social Science and a Diploma in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field from a recognized institution;
  • Membership to a relevant professional body and in good standing;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Fulfilled requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution; and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
