Business Development Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Intern who is fresh out of campus and passionate about sales, negotiations and client engagement. The ideal candidate is confident, persuasive and eager to build a career in business development.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and reach out to potential clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn and physical visits.
- Pitch Codirect’s courier and fulfilment solutions to SMEs and corporate clients.
- Prepare quotes, proposals and assist in contract negotiations.
- Maintain relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Conduct market research and generate daily/weekly reports on leads and activity.
- Support the Business Development team in presentations and follow-ups.
Requirements
- Recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Logistics or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in speaking to decision-makers.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Energetic, self-driven and eager to learn.
- Familiarity with logistics or e-commerce industries is an added advantage.
