Position Overview
- Job Title: Driver
- Reports to: Logistics Officer
- Location: Kenya
- Job Summary: The Driver will transport staff, official guests, and goods while ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of company vehicles in line with Uzima Chicken’s policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide transportation services for staff, guests, goods, and other assignments within and outside company premises.
- Ensure assigned vehicles are well-maintained, conducting basic mechanical checks and keeping documentation, permits, and accessories up to date.
- Verify inventory loads against delivery notes during loading and offloading.
- Maintain accurate records, including vehicle logs, cargo documentation, and fuel card receipts.
- Ensure the safe custody of vehicles and their contents during transit.
- Promptly report mechanical issues or vehicle faults to the Logistics Officer and follow up on repairs.
- Report delays, accidents, or incidents immediately, following protocols such as obtaining police reports and photographic evidence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
- Valid Police Certificate of Good Conduct.
