ICT Technician
Qualification
Education, Skills and Experience
Must have:
- Diploma in ICT/Computer Science or any other related field from a recognized academic institution.
- 3 years’ experience in a similar position
Key responsibilities also include
Reporting to: Campus Registrar, Administration, Finance & Marketing, MSA Campus & Principal Technology Officer
Duties and responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for ICT support in the campus.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, WiFi AP and related ICT equipment.
- Provide user support on university systems including UniRP, vLMS, email, OES etc.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and basic network connectivity problems.
- Support ICT operations in teaching, learning, and administrative environments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of ICT equipment and consumables in the campus.
- Ensure adherence to ICT security policies and report any breaches or system misuse.
- Document support activities and generate periodic user support reports.
- Collaborate with other ICT units to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
