Person Specifications
An earned PhD or equivalent Doctoral degree in Medical Surgical Nursing /Pediatric Nursing from an accredited and recognized University;
OR
- Hold a Master’s degree in Medical Surgical Nursing /Pediatric Nursing from an accredited and recognized University;
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited and recognized University;
- Demonstrate evidence of teaching experience at University level or in research or in industry;
- Evidence of publications in reputable peer reviewed journals;
- Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya and have a valid practice license;
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Progress towards completion of Ph.D. will be an added advantage;
How to Apply
TERMS OF SERVICE
Employment for the positions of Lecturer will be on permanent and pensionable terms. Tutorial fellow position will be on one (1) year contact renewable up to three (3) years based on PhD progress. The appointed candidate will be remunerated as per the Inter Public University Councils Consultative Forum (IPUCCF) and CBA 2021- 2025 approved salary rates.
