Job Overview
Swan Facilities Limited, a fast-growing integrated facilities management company, is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have real estate industry experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain 100% accurate financial records through timely posting and proper record-keeping.
- Prepare and submit timely accurate financial reports, error-free bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable analysis and fixed asset registers.
- Manage timely invoicing, payments and follow-ups to ensure optimal cash flow.
- Achieve 100% adherence to tax filings and statutory remittances.
- Timely development and submission of annual budgets with accurate financial projections identifying the potential budget variances and recommending the corrective actions.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to management for informed decision-making.
- Ensure 100% audit readiness and compliance with auditors’ requirements.
Knowledge, experience & Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA K, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Must have dollar accounting experience
Competencies/skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong expertise in bookkeeping, financial reporting, IFRS, Tax Laws and statutory compliance.
- Advanced MIS reporting skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas and data analysis).
