  • Lead the technical evaluation of pharmaceuticals and other health products and technologies to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Set quality assurance standards and oversee the design and implementation of systems for physical inspection, random sampling, and quality checks across all product categories, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic frameworks for handling customer complaints, ensuring swift resolution of issues related to poor-quality products, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership in coordinating with MOH Strategic Programs on technical specifications, distribution strategies, and product lifecycle management, ensuring smooth coilaboration across departments.
  • Lead the development of distribution strategies for pharmaceuticals, medical lab commodities, supplements, and health technologies, optimizing logistics and minimizing stffkouts.
  • Oversee the development and approval of technical specilications for health technologies, ensuring alignment with both current industry trends and long-term organizational oQectives.
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of Standard Operating
  • Procedures (SOPs) for procurement, inventory control, and product monitoring, ensuring best practices and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Guide the development of comprehensive reports that analyze the effectiveness of HPT, providing insights that in(orm high-level management decision-making.
  • Participate in initiatives to monitor biotechnology and health technology trends, providing shategic advice on adopting new technologies and positioning the organization to remain competitive in the industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Cumulative service period of six (6) years’ work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Senior Quality Assurance Officer or in a comparable position.
  • Registered by the Pharmacy and Poison’s Board (PPB)
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies, such as the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya (ISK) and in good standing
  • Certificate in management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
  • Proficiency in computer applications; and
  • Demonshated professional competence and ability as reflected in work performance and resulLs.
