Remuneration: 1,000 USD per month stipend to cover the living expenses of the intern

In this role, you will support programmes across MAGENTA’s SBC portfolio, helping our teams

achieve their impact goals. You will be introduced to the foundations of social and behavioural

change theory and practice as well as project management processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Intern will report to the Senior Programme Manager. Typical tasks include:

• Contribute to marketing, fundraising and proposal development efforts under the guidance of

Programme Managers or Regional Director

• Monitoring of tenders and funding opportunities

• Support programme implementation via tasks such as proof reading, literature reviews,

analysis, monitoring and reporting, cost tracking, admin, liaison with suppliers.

• Updating MAGENTA databases – past performance records, contact lists, partners’

testimonials

• Supporting on general administrative and logistics requirements across the team

REQUIREMENTS

• Recently graduated (or about to graduate) from top tier university;

1• Keen interest in the international development;

• Ability to work effectively, respectfully and successfully with governments, clients, partners

and other stakeholders in complex settings;

• Knowledge of and experience living in MAGENTA’s regions strongly desired;

• Must be fluent in English and Arabic PLUS either French or Spanish

• Technological and software fluency, include Office 365.

organization available upon completion of internship, subject to needs at the time.
