Job Details
Cost Tracking & Analysis:
- Monitor and analyse direct and indirect costs across sourcing, production, logistics and projects, maintain accurate cost records for raw materials, labour, transport and overheads, and develop cost allocation models for multi-country operations.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, analyse cost trends to inform pricing and strategic decisions, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare monthly cost reports and variance analyses for management review, ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards, and reconcile cost data with procurement, operations and finance teams.
Systems & Process Improvement:
- Maintain and update cost-related data in the ERP system, generate regular cost and margin reports, and recommend and implement cost control measures and process improvements.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics and project teams to gather and verify cost information, communicate key insights to management, and support cross-country coordination on costing standards and best practices.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA or ACCA certification preferred
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in cost accounting, preferably in FMCG, Agriculture or Manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, ERP systems and cost analysis.
- Experience with cross-border logistics in East Africa is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with export documentation and procedures is an added advantage
