CDL was founded in early 2003 by its current Managing Director Lucy Mmari.Within her 14 year tenure in a well established logistics company, She honed her skill in human resources management and thereafter started CDL.
Executive Driver
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive the Directors to and from various destinations, ensuring punctuality and comfort.
- Transport executive family members when required, maintaining discretion and professionalism.
- Follow planned routes and adapt to changing schedules or traffic conditions promptly.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are in excellent working condition.
- Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and fully fueled at all times.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure maximum safety for passengers.
- Manage daily logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption reports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Directors’ movements, conversations, and personal matters.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service schedules with approved garages.
- Assist with minor administrative or support tasks when assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid and clean Driving License.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving executive families, VIPs, diplomats, or high-profile individuals.
- Certificate in Defensive Driving is an added advantage.
- Excellent understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical skills.
- Strong communication skills and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high integrity.
- Well-groomed, disciplined, and presentable at all times.
