Job Specification
This will be the entry and training grade for Diploma holders in this cadre. An officer in this level will work under the supervision of a senior officer.

Duties and responsibilities for an officer at this level will entail assisting in:
- Operating and check lubrication oil for gas blowers, pump, and other effluent treatment plant equipment.
- Collecting samples and carry out simple quality tests for routine analysis;
- Keep records of Effluent treatment Plant;
- Conduct daily inspection of the Effluent Treatment Plant and effluent chemical treatment.
- Trimming the ponds at the plant;
- Conducting general cleanliness of the plant;
- Removing floating foreign matters in the lagoon and ponds; and
- Incinerating hazardous waste.
- Carry out basic machinery diagnosis and troubleshooting
Person Specification
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:
- Diploma in any of the following fields: – Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management, Sewerage Technician or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
