Key Responsibilities
- Build, recruit, train and lead the kitchen team
- Develop and standardise menus, recipes, and plating for day and night service
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, mise en place and quality control
- Ensure strict food safety, hygiene, and compliance with all local regulations
- Manage food cost, inventory, ordering and vendor relationships
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and speed during high-volume service
- Work closely with management on menu costing and kitchen budgets
- Participate in pre-opening planning, kitchen layout sign-off and training programmes
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in premium / high-volume kitchens
- Strong leadership and proven team-building skills
- Excellent food cost and inventory control discipline
- Experience with modern plating and contemporary cuisine styles
- Able to work evenings, weekends and nights for club events
- Available for immediate pre-opening work and training
