As the Leasing Executive, you will play a critical role in driving occupancy rates, securing premium tenants, managing lease renewals, and ensuring superior client experiences at Nairobi GTC’s luxury mixed-use development. This position requires an experienced professional with proven success in office letting and managing real estate agents, who can immediately contribute to our leasing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promote and lease residential, commercial, and office spaces within the GTC development
  • Source and secure high-quality tenants through networking, referrals, agents, and direct outreach
  • Build and manage relationships with external property agents to maximize leasing opportunities
  • Conduct professional property tours and present GTC’s value proposition to prospective tenants
  • Negotiate lease terms aligned with company policies and market conditions
  • Maintain regular contact with prospective tenants and managing agents
  • Address inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate with agents to ensure accurate property listings and effective market coverage
  • Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of all leasing agreements
  • Track lease expiry dates and initiate timely renewals to prevent vacancy gaps
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and rental rates to guide pricing strategy
  • Submit weekly and monthly performance reports on leasing activities

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Real Estate Management, or related field (mandatory)
  • Proven track record in office letting and managing property agents
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in leasing, sales, or property management (luxury real estate experience preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English; Chinese proficiency is an added advantage
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office and CRM software
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results to tight timelines
  • Strong understanding of the Kenyan real estate market and leasing practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Professional presentation and client relationship management abilities
  • Knowledge of lease documentation and contract administration
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
