The Store Keeper is responsible for managing all salon and retail inventory operations to ensure smooth and efficient product flow within Spritz Hair Studio & Essentials. This role involves receiving, organising, recording, and issuing products, tools, and supplies used for salon services and retail sales. The Store Keeper works closely with the salon, procurement, and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels, ensure product quality, and support the overall efficiency of daily operations.

Responsibilities
- Receiving, inspecting, and verifying all incoming hair and beauty products, tools, and salon supplies.
- Ensuring all received items are in good condition, properly labeled, and organized in their designated storage areas.
- Monitoring stock levels of hair products, accessories, and salon consumables, and alerting management when restocking is required.
- Coordinating with suppliers and the procurement team to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records for both salon use and retail sales.
- Conducting weekly and monthly stock counts to reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Issuing products to stylists, nail techs, and front desk staff upon authorized request and recording all stock movements.
- Supporting sales by ensuring the retail display shelves are well-stocked, clean, and attractively arranged.
- Identifying slow-moving or near-expiry products and notifying management for promotions or clearance.
- Assisting in preparing stock and sales reports as required by management.
- Ensuring proper product rotation (first in, first out) to minimize waste and product expiry.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in both the storage and retail display areas.
- Handling product returns, damaged goods, and replacements in line with company policy.
- Coordinating with the salon team to ensure smooth product flow between storage and the work floor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Required: 2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or stock control—preferably in a salon, cosmetics, or retail environment.
- Good understanding of beauty and haircare products, accessories, and salon tools.
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail in managing stock.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
- Proficient in basic computer use, including inventory systems, Excel, or POS software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with staff, suppliers, and management.
- Honest, dependable, and trustworthy in handling stock and company property.
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Physically fit to handle lifting, unpacking, and organising stock items.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
- Flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours when needed.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to the salon’s daily operational needs.
