Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Data Engineer to join our team in a hybrid work setting, based in Nairobi County, Kenya, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data warehouses, optimize data workflows, and build efficient ETL processes. The role involves data modeling to support robust analytics and creating solutions to analyze large datasets, enabling actionable insights across the organization.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Data Engineering and Data Modeling methodologies to design efficient systems
- Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing techniques
- Strong skills in Data Analytics, including analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data for business decision-making
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field
