Consortium coordination

  • Identify and ensure the completion of strategic action points.
  • Coordinate consortium meetings and engagements.
  • Manage finances, including budget planning/tracking and overseeing contract/payment execution.

Software management

  • Support software users and administrators with software configuration, troubleshooting, and user queries.
  • Manage software sprints according to budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate with consortium partners and software developers to test software features, issues, and fixes.
  • Translate and communicate software technical details between tech and non-tech audiences.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and data protection within the software.
  • Update and maintain software documentation with new release notes, help pages, and videos.

BUR team management

  • Build, update, and maintain team-wide work planning systems and budgets.
  • Track and report on team-wide goals, including identifying risks and opportunities to advance organizational strategy.
  • Coordinate team meetings to advance interpersonal collaboration and learning.

Cross-cutting responsibilities

  • Automate and systematize processes to improve operational efficiency, including but not limited to the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Ensure high-quality knowledge management through website management and file management practices.

Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, public policy, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience (bachelor’s degree) or 2+ years of experience (master’s degree) in the humanitarian or development sector.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies

  • Experience managing large and long-term (6+ months) projects with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels, including strategic shifts and ongoing task reprioritization..
  • Experience managing software projects with high user satisfaction and a clear understanding of software development and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent Excel spreadsheet data organization and analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to facilitate senior leadership meetings and demonstrate software.
  • Excellent attention to detail for the purpose of analyzing spreadsheets and troubleshooting software.
  • Highly organized with proven time and project management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a remote team across time zones, cultures, and contexts.
  • Excellence communication skills, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to improvise, team player.
  • Commitment to IRC’s core values.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English required
