We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Housekeeper, to work at Taita Hills & Salt Lick Wildlife Resort Ltd.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Update daily room status in Opera (arrivals, departures, early check-ins).
- Review evening reports and brief the team. -Allocate rooms and duties to stewards based on occupancy.
- Enforce DND rules, ensure VIP and show rooms are ready by 10:00 AM. -Prepare and reconcile room discrepancy reports.
- Supervise staff attendance, grooming, and readiness. -Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment condition.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly. -Ensure safety procedures and brand cleanliness standards are met.
- Conduct appraisals, performance improvements, and staff training. -Handle staff discipline, motivation, and recognition.
- Participate in stock-taking and related reporting. -Uphold Taita Hills & Salt Lick core values, standards, and safety policies.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma or higher in Housekeeping or Hospitality Management.
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience, ideally in a luxury hotel or lodge.
- Proficient in Opera PMS and MS Office. -Strong leadership, organization, and attention to detail.
