Investment Accountant
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and manage capital calls and distribution notices using our investment accounting system
- Reconcile capital balances between the investment module and general ledger
- Record journal entries and prepare entity-level financial statements
- Process monthly P&L rollups and maintain waterfall models for promote calculations
- Ensure compliance with fund agreements, GAAP/IFRS standards, and internal controls
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in investment or fund accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with systems like Investran, Geneva, or similar
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS as it relates to investment valuation and reporting (It is appreciated)
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex financial data clearly
