IT Administrator
- We are seeking an experienced IT professional to manage our IT infrastructure and security operations.
Responsibilities
- Administer servers, databases systems ensuring 99.5% uptime
- Manage network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, and telephony systems Implement and monitor security systems, conduct patch management, and ensure compliance
- Oversee backup systems and coordinate quarterly disaster recovery testing
- Collaborate with application and BI teams to support integrated business operations
Requirements
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Network Engineering
- 3-4 years’ experience in infrastructure and systems administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking protocols, and security tools
- Certifications in CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Server Administration preferred
- Experience with cloud services (Azure/AWS)
- Location: Nairobi Reports to: Head of IT
