Accountant with Quickbooks and US GAAP
Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process for both cash- and accrual-basis clients (QuickBooks Online).
- Maintain schedules in Google Sheets to support account balances.
- Post general and adjusting journal entries.
- Prepare draft reporting packets in Fathom.
- Assist with client onboarding (migrate to new chart of accounts, set up month-end schedules in project management software, etc.).
- Required Attitudes & Attributes

- Flexible – this is a new business, processes may evolve.
- Diligent and efficient – able to switch between clients in the same day without losing focus.
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong experience with accrual accounting.
- Preferably experience in GAAP-compliant environments (e.g., supporting businesses with annual GAAP audits).
- Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Drive.
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (certification is a plus but not required).
- Preferable experience with Bill.com and Ramp.
