Taqwa SACCO, Kenya’s first Sharia-compliant financial institution (est. 1998), invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of ICT Officer.
Job Purpose:
Oversee and support the SACCO’s ICT systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient operations that enhance customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of ICT projects.
- Manage ICT vendors and service-level agreements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ICT-related issues.
- Monitor and report on system performance.
- Configure and maintain network access, applications, and data storage.
- Ensure system security and maintain updated protection tools.
- Implement and review disaster recovery plans.
- Oversee ICT maintenance schedules and license renewals.
- Plan for upgrades and expansion of ICT infrastructure.
- Participate in ICT procurements and maintain ICT inventory.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- At least one relevant certification: CCNP Security, CEH, SSCP, CISA, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in system/database/network administration, including 1 year in cybersecurity.
- Experience in project management and user training is an added advantage.
