What you will do
As Go-To-Market Assistant – Consumer Electronics, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, B2C/B2B Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Finance to drive successful go-to-market strategies and measurable execution aligned with LG’s vision and business goals in East Africa. As an integral member of the GTM team, your responsibilities include analyzing sales and market information, providing meaningful analytics and reports to upper management, coordinating between key functional teams to execute sales strategies effectively, and delivering insights that enable transformative decisions to improve business performance across the region.
What you will do
Sales & Market Analytics
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze sales, promotion, and market data.
- Monitor competitive landscape and sales performance to optimize product range, pricing, promotions, and financial outcomes.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting
- Set KPIs and track performance across markets.
- Lead forecasting and market simulations to support strategic decisions.
- Provide timely, actionable insights to senior leadership.
Go-To-Market Strategy
- Design and execute short- and long-term go-to-market plans.
- Develop measurable KPIs and monitor execution effectiveness.
- Identify and drive initiatives to improve GTM performance and processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and leadership teams.
- Serve as the GTM point person to align marketing strategy with business goals.
- Support business units with clear insights into overall performance.
Brand & Communication
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all regional materials.
- Oversee the online brand store and its business performance.
Reporting & Insights
- Deliver periodic tracking and reporting of GTM activities.
- Influence data-driven decision-making through operational analysis.
Other Duties
- Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by management.
What you must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in sales analytics, GTM strategy, or business performance management.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.
